The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has officially opened the Phase 2 of Laguna Lake Highway in Taguig, which is the first highway in the Philippines with 3 meters wide range for motorists, bikers and pedestrians, under the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte. The project extending the Laguna Lake Highway for additional 1.3 kilometers that cost P140.331 million which covers provision for plant strip, sidewalk, turn out, and drainage works is in addition to the concrete paved segment which was about 3.2 kilometers, is now 4.5 kilometers. The opening of the additional concrete paved segment was attended by DPWH Secretary Mark A.
